Amphitheatre Furniture Policy
It’s ok to bring small chairs and low couches into The Amphitheatre itself.
It’s certainly not ok to bring in anything that blocks or impedes the view of people behind you. These things are completely banned from being in the Amphitheatre. They are fine to be at the campsites, but they can’t be anywhere that has a view of the stage.
Likewise, standing on top of couches, chairs, eskies, etc to get a better view is not required and blocks the view of many people behind you. So don’t do that, it’s Un-Golden.
Please take all your furniture (and tarps and tents) home with you – we don’t want it and neither does Landfill.
BANNED FROM THE AMPHITHEATRE
Couches or seats on stilts or raised platforms (I’m looking at you, sofa-bed-with-extended pine-legs man)
Stools
Pergolas
Gazebos
Shade tents
Any furniture higher than, say, the belly-button height of your average Jolene.
PERGOLAS
We’re very sorry, but Pergolas are now banned from the Amphitheatre – there were too many complaints about blocking the view of the stage, and yes they are a safety hazard. They have gone the way of white tennis balls. Of course, they are OK within the campgrounds.
REMINDER
Please take all your furniture (and tarps and tents) home with you – we don’t want it and neither does Landfill.
