People love Neko Case. People are right. Nobody else makes music like Neko Case. Neko Richelle Case is an American singer-songwriter, and OH MAN people that love her seem to love her more than anyone else in contemporary music. Has had a remarkable career, just when things go quiet she drops another wonderful album – a whole new world to get immersed in. Sounds ridiculous, but Neko Case makes music worth listening to; hearing the music, seeing the magical realism of the stories, feeling tapped in to someone who is tapped in. New album The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You shows that genre descriptions are useless, and the “darkly, magnificently weird” Neko is a long way from her country beginnings.
